Mario Miranda was a renowned Goan artist and cartoonist known for finding humor in everyday life. Born in 1926, he was invited worldwide for his iconic drawings that captured the essence of his travels. He received the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award. In 1985, Mario was invited to New York, where he created "Bustling Broadway" and captured the city's vibrant character. He explored diverse neighborhoods like Little Italy, Little India, and the Jewish Quarter, even spending time with Charles Schulz, the creator of Peanuts.
